My name is Adriana Jaroslavsky and I am a multidisciplinary designer originally from Venezuela based in London. I research the interaction of colours and spaces, exploring how these can elevate our senses and in turn create incredible aesthetic experiences. I’m constantly in search of a way to generate feelings through my work. Architecture and interior spaces are some of my biggest inspirations and passions, since it’s inside of these very personal spaces that we create our stories - the narrative of our lives and feelings. I design to translate everything and anything that can’t be put into words, as well as to bring to life all the things that can. I aim to find a bridge that connects art and design, to reinforce my practice as well as my love for creating, and to give back to my community and anyone that can come in contact and have a reaction from it.

I went to a Barber Osgerby talk at the V&A and heard this exchange:

PANEL MEMBER: What was the main difference you found when you started designing for products, as opposed to doing architecture?

JAY OSGERBY: There isn’t essentially any difference. If you are a good designer then you should be able to design across all fields. You should be able to translate your ideas through different subjects. If they are good, they will work out.
